Terms & Conditions
In consideration of my child’s enrollment in HMS Summer Program, I/we agree to the following:
As the Parent(s) or Legal Guardian(s) of the above named child (hereinafter referred to as the “student”), I/we enroll the student in Hoboken Montessori School (“HMS” or the “School”) for the 2017 Summer Program. The period of enrollment shall be for the sessions selected above.
This Agreement constitutes a commitment to the selected summer sessions. Except in the event of cancellation prior to May 15, 2017, no refund, credit or remission of tuition will be granted. These payments are not subject to reduction, adjustment, or refund due to illness, absence, or withdrawal of the student from the School unless the withdrawal is made at the request of the School. There will be no reduction for weather related closures. The School reserves the right to request withdrawal of a student and in such a case will prorate the tuition on a per diem basis in accordance with each session fee, except where withdrawal is requested by reason of non-payment of tuition.
There is a non-refundable and non-transferable deposit of $500 due with registration which will be applied to the program fee. The balance of the program fee is due by May 16, 2017.
Refund Policy/Week Changes
A full refund less the non-refundable and non-transferable deposit will be provided if written notification is received prior to May 15, 2017. No refunds will be given on or after May 16, 2017. Parents may request a change in week depending on availability up to June 1, 2017. There will be no exceptions to this policy.
HMS reserves the right to cancel any session and/or schedule if minimum enrollment is not met. Cancellation(s) will be communicated by June 1, 2017.
A full refund will be provided for any cancelled session.
I/we hereby release, forever discharge, and agree to hold harmless HMS, and its officers, directors, and employees, and lessees of premises (each a “Releasee”) from any and all liability, claims or demands of personal injury, civil claims, property damage and related expenses, and future claims whether caused by the negligence of the Releasee or otherwise while student is enrolled at HMS. I further agree to indemnify, defend, and hold the Releasee harmless from and against all actions, claims, or liability (including attorney fees and costs) directly or indirectly caused by my child or resulting from any inaccuracy or omission made by me in completing this agreement or other information provided to HMS.
I/We agree that HMS will not release any records relating to the student’s enrollment to any person, organization or school (including any other school at which the student may be enrolled at any time) until all accounts are current and all tuition and fees are paid in full.
I/We understand that location and classroom placement are at the sole discretion of HMS administration for all HMS programs. HMS reserves the right to make modifications to our programs and offerings are subject to sufficient enrollment.
I/We understand and agree to comply and support the policies as published in the most current Parent Handbook and that the content of such is incorporated into this Agreement by this reference to it.
I/We give express consent to HMS or any agent acting in its behalf to secure and provide medical and dental attention that may be necessary in the discretion of HMS for the student during a period when the undersigned cannot be contacted by telephone. I/we agree to assume complete financial responsibility for any and all medical, dental and related expenses incurred on behalf of the student under the conditions described above.
This Agreement may not be modified or amended except by written agreement executed by all parties. No oral modifications will be recognized. This Agreement represents the entire understanding between myself/ourselves and HMS. I/we have read the above Terms and Conditions and fully understand and agree to abide by all of them. The terms shall be binding upon and inure to my/our benefit, heirs, personal representatives, trustees, and successors. This Agreement shall be interpreted under the laws of the State of New Jersey. This Agreement must be signed by both parents and legal guardians of the student.
I/we have agreed to conduct my transactions, Forms, and paperwork with the Hoboken Montessori School by electronic means. I authorize the Hoboken Montessori School to rely on my electronic signatures and I understand that they have legal binding effect.
